Additionally, Brandon helped to coordinate the community Food Pantry and Emergency Financial Assistance programs, both of which served community members of all ages. Prior to his role at ElderNet, Brandon served as the Director of Social Services at Bethesda Project, creating supportive programming to assist people who are currently or formerly homeless remain stably housed.

Trish Sneddon, Board President for KOC notes, “Brandon’s experience and leadership skills are a perfect match to lead Keystone’s programs successfully into the future. Brandon has knowledge of resources and connections in Montgomery County that will assist us in reaching and expanding our program goals. I see Brandon as someone who can help us to be more interconnected with other Social Services organizations in our community. We need to work together collectively to create a stronger safety net for people who need assistance.”

In discussing his new role at Keystone, Brandon said, “I am excited to join Keystone Opportunity Center’s staff and volunteers, who have such a big impact in the community. I look forward to working with the Board, staff, and community to continue this vital work as well as creating the means to address the emerging needs of the community.”

When not involved in events in the community, Brandon enjoys fishing, hiking, biking, and gardening with his family. He earned dual bachelor’s degrees from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Psychology and Philosophy in 2003 and received his Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in social administration and a Certificate in Human Services Management from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010.
