Seventh Annual Fundraiser Benefits Third Street Alliance During Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Now in its seventh year, The Lehigh Valley Business Women Networking Involving Charity & Education (BW NICE™) will hold The Red Shoe™ Luncheon and Fashion Show fundraiser on Friday, October 14th at 10am at Northampton Country Club. Designed and developed by –ts PR & Event Planning and Greene Marketing, this year’s theme is “When Home Hurts: 911, Ending the Drama. Healing the Trauma.

Event proceeds benefit Third Street Alliance for Women & Children, which provides a safe and healthy space for women, children, and families to live, learn, and thrive. Held during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the program helps shine a light on this social issue, as well as supports survivors, who make up 65% of Third Street’s residents.

“We as a community of networking businesswomen are fully aware of the importance of this year’s event reemerging after Covid,” says BW NICE™ LV Red Shoe Planning Director, Tiffany Sondergaard.    “These past few years have been extremely detrimental for some who have endured significant abuse due to unemployment and extended work-from-home conditions.  Working with Greene Marketing to bring attention and give a voice to survivors of domestic violence is necessary today, tomorrow and beyond the month of October.”

“Lehigh Valley Health Network is proud to once again support the BW NICE™ Red Shoe Luncheon,” said Ashley Toth, LVHN Senior Public Affairs Specialist. “Don’t miss our very own Dr. Leahna Cooney at this year’s luncheon as keynote speaker.”
