October 31, 2022 – On Wednesday, November 2 at 9:00am, Bixlers Jewelry will host a reveal party at its Allentown store to showcase the Bloom awareness charm from The Paradise Collection™ by Brooke Mitman. This exclusive medallion was created to elevate and raise funds for Bloom, a Lehigh Valley non-profit organization dedicated to helping women survivors of sex trafficking. The launch of the charm and the collection takes place just before Lehigh Valley Anti-Trafficking (LVAT) Week 2022 kicks off on November 4, a week-long event to raise awareness of human trafficking and modern slavery, and encourage government, local authorities, companies, charities, and individuals to do what they can to address the problem.

“This charm is the first of many to come for The Paradise Collection™,” says Brooke Mitman, Easton-based entrepreneur and philanthropist. “Future charms will be developed to represent other meaningful causes in the Lehigh Valley and across the nation, helping to bring awareness, funding, and social justice in our region. I couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with LA-based designer Carmen Calderon and Bixlers to bring this custom piece to life in support of Bloom.”

Set in sterling silver and inscribed on the back with the words “Help. Heal. Hope.”, the floral and heart charm can be added to bracelets or necklaces, as the flagship piece of The Paradise Collection™ by Brooke Mitman. Bixlers is responsible for manufacturing and distributing the piece.

“As America’s oldest jeweler, Bixlers has been invested in community causes since our inception, committed to a better world,” says Jeff Yoder, Store Director for Bixlers Jewelers. “As with all Bixlers jewelry, this custom piece is exceptionally crafted in North America, showcasing our legacy of long-lasting quality and elegance.”

The Bloom charm will be available for sale at Bixlers, on Bloom’s website and in store at Bloom’s Bethlehem resale store, My Sister’s Closet. Bloom is one of several social justice organizations dedicated to fighting the human trafficking fight on the front lines. Additional founding members of The Lehigh Valley Anti-Trafficking Collaborative include ASPIRE to Autonomy, Bethlehem Rotary, Crime Victims Council of the Lehigh Valley, Valley Health Partners Street Medicine, Marsy’s Law, Truth For Women, VAST (The Valley Against Sex Trafficking), and Valley Youth House.

“This collaboration launches just as we open our fifth home in the Lehigh Valley,” says Carol Andersen, Bloom CEO. “As we remain committed to helping survivors start over, begin to heal and find hope to transition to a better life, we welcome this added awareness for our work in the local community and for the nearly 21 million victims of human trafficking globally.”

The public is welcome to attend the reveal party at Bixlers Jewelry on Wednesday, November 2 from 9-10:00am, 3900 Hamilton Blvd, Allentown, PA 18103, where the The Paradise Collection™ by Brooke Mitman Bloom charm will be available for purchase.
