Keynote Speaker: Shea Rhodes, Director of The Villanova Law Institute to Address Commercial Sexual Exploitation

Shea is the statewide legal expert on Pennsylvania sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation laws. Co-Founder and Director of the Institute to Address Commercial Sexual Exploitation (CSE Institute) at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.

The symposium will additionally feature several panel discussions with law enforcement and community professionals dedicated to combating human trafficking in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas.

This year’s panel facilitators:  Alycha Boehm, MSW, LSW (Valley Youth House) & Catharine Kessack, MSW, LSW (Valley Against Sex Trafficking)

The symposium panels are;

  • Housing Models Panel:   Carol Anderson (Bloom), Megan Sell (VYH THRIVE), Sarah Silverman (ASPIRE)
  • Trauma Informed Care Panel: Dr. Heather Evans, DSW LCSW (Valley Against Sex Trafficking, Evans Counseling LCC), Alycha BoehmMSW, LSW (Valley Youth House), Amber Karom MSW, LCSW, CCTP (ASPIRE to Autonomy)
