First partnership event will host nearly 600 people from A Kid Again Mid-Atlantic Chapter at Crayola Experience Easton

A Kid Again, a national non-profit serving kids with life-threatening conditions and their families, and Crayola Experience, the family destination for interactive, creative play, are joining forces to create meaningful shared experiences and fun-filled memories.

Kids with life-threatening conditions and their families with the nonprofit A Kid Again Mid-Atlantic will enjoy a special day at The Crayola Experience Easton on Saturday, March 25. This Adventure marks the first partnership event between the national nonprofit and Crayola Experience, and the first Adventure of 2023 for A Kid Again Mid-Atlantic. A Kid Again will hold family gatherings at each of the five Crayola Experience locations throughout the country in 2023.

A Kid Again families attending the Crayola Experience Easton Adventure will enjoy exploring more than 25 creative attractions and activities including Amazon rainforest-themed crafts, naming and wrapping their own Crayola crayon, starring in their own coloring page, bringing their art to life on the big screen, learning how crayons are made, and more.

“At A Kid Again, we’re always looking for national partners who can help us achieve our mission of providing fun-filled group outings for families of kids with life-threatening conditions, so they can forget about their medical challenges and experience a day of fun and community,” said Ann Fixari, A Kid Again New Markets Coordinator. “We couldn’t be happier to partner with Crayola Experience and we can’t wait to see the smiles on our kids and families as they enjoy this colorful, creative Adventure.”

“The Crayola Experience is all about families coming together to have fun and make lifelong memories using the power and magic of color and creativity,” said Kristin Luise, Crayola Experience head of Head of Marketing & Retail. “We’re excited to partner with an organization like A Kid Again whose mission aligns so well with ours, and to bring this experience to the kids and families they serve.”

Kids with life-threatening conditions and their families face hard days – doctor appointments, therapies, surgeries, and hospital visits. That’s where A Kid Again comes in. To help families have carefree fun and create meaningful moments together throughout the year at free, fun-filled group activities called Adventures.

The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of A Kid Again was established in 2020, and to-date serves more than 600 families throughout eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and the general Mid-Atlantic region.
