Girls on the Run Lehigh Valley and Pocono

July, 2023

Our Name Has Changed…Our Mission Continues!

On July 1, 2023 Girls on the Run Lehigh Valley officially joined forces with Girls on the Run Pocono to form the NEW Girls on the Run Lehigh Valley and Pocono council. We said goodbye to GOTR Pocono founder, Dolores Everett, who has deservedly retired after 21 years and continues to help others in her community through her fitness business. The merged council now serves the following counties in Pennsylvania: Lehigh, Carbon, Northampton, Monroe, Pike, Wayne, Luzerne and Lackawanna. We also now serve Warren County, NJ!

Our combined staff and Board of Directors are working hard to make GOTR programs accessible to ALL girls in our territory. Visit our Website for a full listing of Staff and Board Members.

“The lessons reinforced through GOTR really helped strengthen my daughter Elyana’s character. I am very proud to have watched Elyana flourish and learn to love and accept herself and even more importantly, become proud of what makes her unique.”

– Diane, GOTR Parent

Site Registration is OPEN for Fall Programs, with Participant Registration opening 8/1. Program start dates and 5K dates vary by site. Check our website for details!
