The Kindness Project’s Annual Holiday Wish Drive is in Full Swing for 2023!

Emmaus, Pennsylvania – The Kindness Project, a dedicated local nonprofit committed to supporting foster care families in the Lehigh Valley and beyond, is urgently seeking community assistance to fulfill the holiday wishes of at least 79 children in need by December 3rd.

The nonprofit’s annual holiday initiative, aimed at bringing joy to children in foster care, is in full swing. With the generous support received so far, The Kindness Project has successfully granted numerous wishes, but the mission is far from complete.

“We are seeing an alarming rise in the number of new foster care placements in 2023 but are continuously thankful and amazed by the outpouring of kindness and generosity from our community to sustain our efforts to bring comfort, dignity, and hope to over 1,600 local youth who are experiencing foster care. ” expressed Jenae Holtzhafer, founder of The Kindness Project. This year’s Holiday Wish Drive requires support for over 500 personalized gifts, and we have faith that our donors will make every child’s wish come true once again! We are endlessly thankful for the love that our foster families and youth continue to feel as we connect their needs with the community’s support.”

The Amazon Holiday Wish List, accessible at https://mykindnessproject.org/ and https://amzn.to/3RgrEd1 features specific gifts and essentials that will bring joy to the kids and teens supported by The Kindness Project. The organization encourages individuals to browse the list and consider making a contribution to make this holiday season memorable for every child in their care.
