The Slicked Up Nines Jump & Swing Band will show music and passion are always in fashion at the hotel
Bethlehem, PA (February 26, 2025) – If you’re tired of looking at dirty snow and scraping ice off your car, Historic Hotel Bethlehem has something summery for you to look forward to – Copacabana Night. “Turns out the ‘hottest spot north of Havana’ is right here in Bethlehem,” said Kelly Ronalds, the hotel’s Director of Room Sales and Guest Experience. On April 5, the hotel invites guests to dress in their summer-inspired best as they sip beachy cocktails and dance to the beat of, The Slicked Up Nines Jump & Swing Band. “This will be the perfect time to break out your flowing sundress, linen suit, or even a Carmen Miranda fruit hat,” laughed Ronalds.
A sultry summer menu
The evening begins with a delicious hors d’oeuvres selection. Executive Chef Rodney Rivera will prepare a refreshing ocean-side inspired menu that starts with a heart of palm salad. Then, guests can choose from many entrees: paella with shrimp, mussels and chorizo, paella with assorted mushrooms, Churrasco Steak with chimichurri and frites, Brazilian rubbed bone in chicken breast with patatas bravas and mango slaw. After dinner, stop by the dessert action station to watch the pastry chef flambé banana crisp with dulce de leche.
