The Block Party is made possible through a grant from the Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network (SWAN).
May is National Foster Care Month, a time to recognize the dedicated individuals who help children and youth in foster care find stability, permanency, and hope. Foster parents, mentors, volunteers, child welfare professionals, and policymakers all play a vital role in ensuring young people have the support they need to thrive. Children enter foster care due to family crises, unsafe conditions, or neglect, and foster families provide the love, security, and stability necessary to help them heal and grow. For over 40 years, Pinebrook Family Answers has been committed to providing foster care services, offering specialized programs to meet the unique needs of children requiring out-of-home placement.
