Pocono Chamber of Commerce held 2026 Report to Business

The Pocono Chamber of Commerce hosted its Annual Report to Business Breakfast on Thursday,

January 29, 2026, at Kalahari Resorts and Conventions. This event brought together business leaders, community partners, and stakeholders to start the year informed and connected. The program

highlighted key topics including economic development, workforce trends, tourism, and other issues shaping the local business community.

The event featured remarks and insights from regional leaders including Michelle Bisbing of the Pocono Mountains Economic Development Corporation, Chris Barrett of the Pocono Mountains Visitors

Bureau, and Don Pleau of Kalahari Resorts and Conventions. Each had time to share their perspectives on what is to come in the county.

The program also included participation from Monroe County Commissioners John Christy, Sharon Laverdure, and David Parker, who shared updates on county priorities and discussed collaborative efforts aimed at strengthening the region’s economy and supporting continued progress.
