Valley Preferred Cycling Center opens Fall Red Robin BRL registration

TREXLERTOWN, Pa. – Late Monday morning Valley Preferred Cycling Center Executive Directory Marty Nothstein announced the opening of registration for the Fall 2016 Red Robin Marty Nothstein Bicycle Racing League.

“With the support of Red Robin, BRL has grown into a very successful community program here in T-town,” Nothstein said. “Each season we see over 100 riders register. It is a great atmosphere for riders, both younger and older, to work on their racing skills while still learning from great coaches.”

Registration opened on Monday morning and closes on Sept. 5 at 5 p.m.

The season gets underway with practices for new riders on Aug. 31.

The fall season is a seven week-long program that features riders being split up into four teams, Honor, Knowledge, Fun, and YUMMM, and then going through two weeks of team practices, one week of scrimmages, and two weeks of races against the other teams.

The season concludes on Oct. 13 with the Team Finals where all four teams battle each other on one night with a team champion getting crowned as well. At the conclusion of the evening, each rider receives a $25 Red Robin gift card.

The program is designed for riders ages 8-16. All equipment (bicycles and helmets) are provided for riders.
