THE 7TH ANNUAL PBS39 BREWFEST IS ALMOST HERE

Last week we got to visit the PBS39 Studio to talk about the upcoming 7th Annual PBS39 Brewfest. This year’s PBS39 BrewFest will feature some new highlights along with the classic features that has built this event into one of the most successful fundraisers the station runs. Along with talking about PBS39 BrewFest we also got to learn about the positive impact PBS39 has on our community.

This year’s event will be on Saturday, June 3 2017 from 2:00 PM — 5:00 PM (VIP Ticket holders can enter at 1pm) The 7th Annual PBS39 BrewFest will be returning to Coca-Cola Park located at 555 Union Blvd. Allentown, PA 18109. Attendees will find over 100 beers from craft brewers, local and beyond. There will also be other crafters and local vendors including igourmet, Bespoke Bacon, saint obnoxious, Keystone Farm Cheese and more. Of course, no festival would be complete without great live music!

Awards for best the brews will be given out in the following categories: hybrid, IPA, lager, pale ale, porter, wheat and Belgian. Those awards will be selected by a panel of judges. In addition to the judge’s selections All attendees are invited to vote for their overall favorite brews.

This fantastic day of brews, food and music servers as a great way for you to support PBS39. Ticket sales help not only support on air broadcasts but gives PBS39 the ability to offer many other great initiatives to enrich our community. In January of 2017 PBS39 launched its newest initiative, “WLVT 3.0”. With WLVT 3.0 PBS39 is looking to promote civic engagement, and to fulfill the needs of our region using its communication platforms and resources. It has already been an exciting year as PBS39 celebrates its 50th Anniversary, none of which would be possible without the support of premier sponsors like PPL Corporation and by individuals like you!
