Lehigh Valley Sports Hall Of Fame Chairman Ed White presented William Allen High School Field Hockey’s Head Coach Katie Hoffman and current players with an assortment of used athletic gear and apparel donated by former Allen Canaries varsity and Chicks club field hockey player and team Captain Tiffany White and former Chicks player Hannah Edwards (who played high school field hockey at Catasauqua) on June 26 as part of the organization’s used equipment and clothing drive.
The Lehigh Valley Sports Hall of Fame is a local organization formed to recognize athletes from the greater Lehigh Valley of Eastern Pennsylvania and the Poconos while promoting youth growth. It became the 29th Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame on May 19, 2017, and is now also known as the Lehigh Valley – Pocono Chapter of the PASHOF.
The organization will hold its next annual induction ceremony, awards, and banquet on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at the Northampton Banquet and Event Center in Northampton, PA.
