COMPEER OF THE LEHIGH VALLEY, Allentown needs volunteers for one-on-one friendship matches.  Compeer matches volunteers from the community with members who are in stable, mental health recovery.  Volunteers spend time with the member doing things like talking over a cup of coffee, taking a walk, going to a free concert, and many more.  Hours are flexible and available in both Northampton and Lehigh Counties.  Call 610-774-1450 or email compeer@pbfalv.org.
 
HAVEN HOUSE, Allentown is looking for groups or individuals to coordinate Holiday Collection Drives of NEW cold-weather items (hat, gloves, and scarves), kids’ items (crayons, stickers, etc.), winter care items (chapstick, lotions, etc.) and more.  Items will be distributed to their clients with mental illness, those with limited access to transportation, and limited resources.  Call Lori Richardson, 610-433-6181 x214, lrichardson@haven-house.com.
LEHIGH COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY, Allentown needs volunteers to help with a Bowl-a-Thon at Hampton Lanes Bowling Alley, Northampton from 12pm-3:30pm on Sunday, November 19th.  Duties include check people in to tournament, help make baked goods, help run bake sale, and help with basket raffle.  This is a fundraiser event for the benefit of the Humane Society.  Call Shannon Lauchnor, 610-797-1205 x308, shannon@lehighhumane.org.
 
MANITO LIFE CENTER, Allentown is in need of a Night Check Team to assist in daily evening care of their equine partners.  Night check times can be flexible, but are done in the evening to ensurehorses have access to water and hay at all times.  Training will be provided.  Volunteers must have reliable, consistent transportation; should be available at least one day per week, but flexible spots are open for those who cannot commit to weekly.  Call Alicia Pramik, 610-433-3707,aliciapramik@gmail.com.
 
MEALS ON WHEELS OF NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, Bethlehem is seeking meal delivery volunteers (18+years).  Volunteer daily or as little as twice each month, according to your availability.  Volunteers must possess a valid driver’s license and have car insurance.  Application process includes criminal background check, orientation, and on-the-road training.  Call Keri Young, 610-691-1030 x20, kerig@mealsonwheelspa.org.

SENIOR CORPS RSVP of LEHIGH, NORTHAMPTON & CARBON COUNTIES, Bethlehem needs Driver/Escort volunteers and volunteers to do Grocery Shopping for senior citizens and/or individuals with disabilities.    Driver/Escorts provide rides to/from appointments.  Grocery shop once or twice a month.  Some shopping assignments may include transporting someone to and accompanying them through the store.  Hours are flexible based upon your availability and needs.  Call Diane Schrameyer, 610-393-1165, dms1408@hotmail.com.
