Downtown Allentown Local Food Market delivers door to door for Strata residents and pick up locations at Greenmouth and Godshall Farm

November 29, 2017 (Barto, PA) Wild Fox Farm announced today they are participating in the Downtown Allentown Local Food Market Winter Buying Club to further their efforts of bringing fresh, healthy, local food to consumers throughout the winter.  Wild Fox Farm is located at 5015 Longview Lane, Barto, PA 19504.

Wild Fox Farm, founded in 2010, is family owned and operated by Ben and Karah Davies and is located in Pennsylvania’s Butter Valley managing over 65 acres.  Wild Fox Farm produces 10 acres of vegetables, pasture raised poultry, eggs, pork, and grass fed lamb using regenerative farming practices and also offers summer, fall and winter Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) memberships.

The Downtown Allentown Local Food Market is now offering a Winter Buying Club to progress with modern methods of consumer food shopping.  Products from farmers and small businesses that attended the Fresh Fridays market all season at 7th and Hamilton, Allentown, PA are ordered online and delivered door to door for Strata residents in downtown Allentown.  Additional pick up locations are currently at Greenmouth Juice Bar + Cafe on the ArtsWalk at 21 North 7th Street, Allentown, PA and Godshall Farm located at 5318 Limeport Pike, Coopersburg, PA.  All deliveries and pick-ups are made on Fridays.

“Getting good, local food into the hands of consumers is an ongoing effort for all local farmers.” states Ben Davies.  “We were a part of the inaugural Fresh Fridays market this year and it is gratifying that all the farms involved were able to create a demand for our products that has resulted in the Winter Buying Club.” continues Davies.

In addition to Wild Fox Farm, Huldufolk Homestead, Greenmouth, Switchback Pizza, The Bread Box and Bakery, Godshall Farm, Frass Valley, Flint Hill Farm, Schocharie Ridge, Patterson’s Maple Products, Big Red Barn, One Village Coffee, and Pan’s Forest all are participating vendors in the Winter Buying Club.
