BETHLEHEM, PA—Renowned blues performer Tab Benoit, Cunningham & Associates and The Blues Brotherhood are among the five new shows announced for the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, located at 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem. Tickets for the shows go on sale Tues., Jan. 9, 10 a.m., to ArtsQuest Members and Thurs., Jan. 11, 10 a.m., to the public at www.steelstacks.org and 610-332-3378.

Philadelphia comedian Gregg Gethard brings his show “Financial Guru Gregg Gethard: Money Talks” to the ArtsQuest Center’s Fowler Blast Furnace Room Feb. 2, 8 p.m. Performing as a personal finance expert and motivational speaker best known for the best-selling memoir “Cash Dad Trash Dad,” Gethard will host a mock seminar for which he ‘guarantees’ to help those in attendance escape the dire poverty of which they were born and achieve a lifetime of financial security.

Gethard has opened for comics such as Hasan Minhaj, Aparna Nancherla, Hari Kondabolu, Dave Hill, Shane Torres, Mary Houlihan and Brett Davis. He’s also been a guest on “The Best Show with Tom Scharpling” and “The Chris Gethard Show.” Gethard is currently working towards his MBA in finance and works professionally in financial media. His show parodies the get-rich quick schemes and seminars that target people trying to better their lives. Tickets for his show are $9 for ArtsQuest Members, and $10 for the public.

On March 8, 7:30 p.m., the Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling welcomes Tab Benoit’s Whiskey Bayou Records Revue featuring Jeff McCarty and Eric Johanson. A noted American blues guitarist, musician and singer, Benoit was named B.B. King Entertainer of the Year in 2007 and Best Contemporary Male Performer at the Blues Music Awards in 2007 and 2013. McCarty is a southern soul singer whose Louisiana musical roots run deep into the soulful blues rock genre, while Johanson has played guitar for Cyril Neville and Terrence Simeon. Tickets are $25-$29.

Cunningham & Associates is a high-energy, six-piece band covering the best of blues, rock and soul. On March 17, 7:30 p.m., in the Musikfest Café, Don Cunningham, former Mayor of Bethlehem and current Lehigh County Executive, and his band will present a night of nonstop hits from two iconic artists – Bruce Springsteen and The Rolling Stones. With more than 30 years of collective experience playing the Lehigh Valley music scene, these music veterans are favorites at venues and events throughout the region including Musikfest and the Lehigh Valley Christmas Concerts. Tickets are $8-$10 advance, and $10-$12 day of show.

A tribute to the Blues Brothers, who first graced the big screen in 1980, The Blues Brotherhood covers the best material from the original film, as well as other classic blues, funk and soul tunes in a style unique to the “Brotherhood.” Hold on to your hats (and shades, for that matter) as the boys capture the sound, energy and persona of Jake and Elwood Blues, the duo who propelled the fictional band into the phenomenon that still thrills audiences around the world. On March 30, 7:30 p.m., at the Musikfest Café, the band will perform with the legendary Tom “Bones” Malone of the original Blues Brothers. Malone is also known for leading the Saturday Night Live band from 1981-’85, and being a member of the CBS Orchestra and the house band for the Late Show with David Letterman. Tickets are $20-$29.

On May 25, 7:30 p.m., Philadelphia Funk Authority celebrates its 25th anniversary as it takes the stage at the Musikfest Café. A Musikfest crowd favorite, Philadelphia Funk Authority specializes in a rich mix of funk, soul, R&B and ultimate party music and authentically recreates the undeniable grooves and tunes of artists ranging from Stevie Wonder and Earth Wind & Fire, to Bruno Mars and beyond. Combining excellent musicianship with an infectious sense of fun, this band is not to be missed! Tickets are $8-$10 advance and $10-$15 day of show.
