Two Rivers Roller Derby Celebrates Fifth Year, Announces Membership with Women’s Flat Track Derby Association

LEHIGH VALLEY, PA – Two Rivers Roller Derby (2RRD), celebrating its fifth year, is proud to announce its apprentice graduation and acceptance as a full member league into the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), the international governing body for the sport of women’s flat track roller derby.
As a new full member of the WFTDA, Two Rivers Roller Derby joins the ranks of over 400 all-female, skater-owned-and-operated leagues worldwide that have united to lead the sport of women’s flat track roller derby. After successfully completing the WFTDA Apprentice Program, 2RRD will now enjoy the benefits of full WFTDA membership, including the ability to compete in sanctioned games that qualify for WFTDA ranking.

Two Rivers Roller Derby is an all-women’s flat track roller derby league serving Eastern Pennsylvania and Northwest New Jersey. 2RRD was launched in 2013 to provide a positive environment for members to achieve their full potential in the sport of roller derby through good sportsmanship and athleticism. We strive to positively promote the sport of roller derby through teamwork and respect for one another, our fellow derby leagues, our community, and ourselves.
Our mission is to provide a haven of athleticism, sportsmanship, and fun in which to play the best possible roller derby.
