Bangor, Saturday May 19th – The Young Professionals Council’s 2nd Annual Benefit, Wine-K: Dash for the Glass, benefiting the Project of Easton, was held today at Franklin Hills Vineyards
The 5-K course took racers through the vineyard. Runners eagerly packed into the starting gate to dash through the scenic vineyards. Runners enjoyed the opportunity to ditch the need for running in a roadway like most 5k courses. Post-race activities included free wine tasting, food, raffles and outdoor games. Today’s rain did not dampen the spirits of the Wine-K: Dash for the Glass participants.
The Project of Easton‘s mission is to build a better community by helping people help themselves through offering educational support services to clients to help break the cycle of poverty.
