AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY LEHIGH VALLEY needs volunteers (ages 18-84) to drive cancer patients to and from their treatment appointments. Must have a good driving record, current driver’s license, proof of adequate car insurance, access to safe and reliable vehicle, schedule availability, and desktop, laptop, or tablet computer access. EASTERN PA DOWN SYNDROME CENTR, Trexlertown is supporting the “I Can Shine Bike Camp” at Easton High School from July 16-20. Volunteers are needed to be “spotters” for individuals with various disabilities as they learn how to ride a conventional 2-wheel bike. HISTORIC BETHLEHEM MUSEUMS & SITES is looking for volunteers for their 32nd Annual Blueberry Festival on Saturday, July 21 and Sunday, July 22 at Burnside Plantation. All volunteers receive a free festival admission and a free scoop of ice cream or slice of pie. Youth volunteers welcome with adult supervision. NORTHAMPTON CO. HISTORICAL & GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY, Easton needs volunteers (age 15+) for Visitor Serviced Representative at the Sigal Museum for 3-4 hour shifts from Wed – Sun. Be the public’s initial face of the museum by providing a warm welcome and assist patrons with admissions, museum information, and purchases at the museum shop. As the designated Easton Tourist Visitor Center, information and assistance are provided regarding activities/events in the surrounding communities. Training is provided.
