Michele Grasso Joins Via as VP of Development



 

BETHLEHEM, PA – (August 29, 2018) – Michele Grasso has been named Vice President of Development for Via of the Lehigh Valley. She has 40 years of experience in development, advocacy, community and government relations and public policy. 

Grasso began her career in Washington, D.C. in public policy implementation and evaluation at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Government Accountability Office and the House of Representatives Select Committee on Hunger. Other positions involved government and community relations. 

In 2003, Grasso began working in fundraising and development. She served as the Director of Development and Communications for Meals on Wheels of Lehigh County since 2009. 

Grasso holds a Master of Public Administration from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Binghamton University. She currently serves on the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley’s Public Policy Committee, Advisory Council of the Lehigh County Office of Aging and Adult Services, and United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley’s Alliance on Aging Steering Committee.
