Tickets for tasting sessions, which help to support programming at Oktoberfest at SteelStacks, go on sale today at 10 a.m.

BETHLEHEM, PA—From German-style Märzens to autumn-inspired pumpkin ales, the hand-crafted beers of the Keystone State’s award-winning craft breweries take center stage as the Oktoberfest Brewers’ Village presented by Weis Markets returns for its fifth year Oct. 12-13. Tickets for the two-hour tasting sessions, where attendees can sample more than 35 different beers, are $20 for ArtsQuest Members and $25 for the public in advance and are $25 for ArtsQuest Members and $30 for the public day of. They go on sale today at noon at www.steelstacks/oktoberfest and 610-332-3378.

At the Brewers Village, which takes place inside the ArtsQuest Center’s Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling, guests sample a diverse array of local favorites, as well as Oktoberfests, limited-edition and seasonal beers from brewers throughout the commonwealth. This year’s event features the highly anticipated Salmon Pants Brewery and Seven Sirens Brewing Company ahead of each brewery’s grand opening in SouthSide Allentown and SouthSide Bethlehem respectively.

Brewers Village tasting sessions take place Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1, 4 and 7 p.m. All attendees receive a commemorative sampling mug and can meet the breweries’ staff and brewers, as well as enjoy the delicious food, fun and games of Oktoberfest, now in its eighth year. Designated driver tickets are also available for $10.

Oktoberfest, presented by Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE), is a free-admission festival that features German food, beer and live music, as well as attractions such as the popular dachshund races, stein hoisting competitions and more. Festival dates are Oct. 5–7 & 12-14. Hours are Fridays, 5-10 p.m.; Saturdays, noon-10 p.m.; and Sundays, noon-8 p.m. Proceeds from the Brewers’ Village go to support the free programming at the event.
