Getting Grace Star Madelyn Dundon to Perform at PBS39 Good Neighbor Awards

Bethlehem, PA – October 4, 2018 – Performer Madelyn Dundon has been added to the star-studded cast celebrating the life and times of Father Daniel G. Gambet, OSFS, as part of PBS39’s 2018 Good Neighbor Awards beginning at 5 p.m. Oct. 26 at the DeSales University Center in Center Valley. The show will air on PBS39 at a later date.

A Bethlehem native, Dundon made her debut in the feature film Getting Grace, in which she played the title character. Directed by Danny Roebuck, the movie opened nationwide on March 23rd to rave critic and audience reviews. She currently attends West Virginia University, where she is studying at the School of Theatre and Dance on a full fine arts scholarship.

Dundon, a choral scholar with the Bach Choir of Bethlehem, studies jazz vocals and classical voice. She will perform selections of PBS favorites at the Good Neighbor Awards, and Roebuck will emcee the event. Award winners include Daniel G. Gambet, OSFS, President Emeritus DeSales University, Dr. Joseph Roy, Superintendent of the Bethlehem Area School District, and Marci Ronald-Lesko, Vice President of the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley.

A good natured roasting and toasting of Father Dan follows the celebration of the Good Neighbor Award winners. Roasters and Toasters include the Hon. Charlie Dent, Tony Iannelli, Jamie Musselman, Lee Butz and David Jaindl. Then, dueling mentalists – Ellen Kern as Kernak the Magnificent and Jack Cooney as The Amazing Coonack – will celebrate Father Dan’s life and times.
