These family-friendly activities will take place at PBS39’s studios on December 30 and 31.

Bethlehem, PA – December 11, 2018 – PBS39 will participate in PEEPSFEST® as a partner with Just Born Quality Confections on both December 30 and 31, 2018. Families can stop by the PBS39 studios for a variety of fun and free activities.

“PBS39 is proud to be a part of PEEPSFEST® once again,” Tim Fallon, Chief Executive Officer of PBS39 said. “As a public media station, we are here for the community. This family festival is the perfect opportunity to open our doors and host the people we serve on a daily basis. We are fortunate to partner with ArtsQuest and we look forward to collaborating on more events throughout the year.”
Clifford the Big Red Dog and PBS39’s TeleBear will be available for photos. This year’s PEEPS® Scholastic Diorama Competition will be on display inside the station, and attendees will also receive a free box of PEEPS®.

“We’re thrilled that PBS39, our community’s public television station and our partner at SteelStacks, has long been part our community-focused PEEPSFEST® events,” ArtsQuest Chief Programming Officer Patrick Brogan said. “For many years, they have hosted the PEEPS® Scholastic Diorama Competition in their building, showcasing the work of elementary and high school students from throughout the region. This year, they’ve really stepped up their commitment by expanding the activities they’re offering during this free family festival. Plus, they are hosting a special broadcast of their nightly news live from the Town Square, helping to raise awareness of this unique event and giving people who cannot attend the opportunity to enjoy a taste of PEEPSFEST®.”

This year, the station will also add a new event – PEEPS® in the Kitchen cooking demonstrations. In these demonstration, ArtsQuest executive chef Barry Sullivan will show the audience creative ways to add Just Born PEEPS® to recipes for a sweet kick. These live demonstrations will take place on Sunday, December 30 at 12, 2 and 4 p.m. There will be special seating for PBS39 members.
