BETHLEHEM, PA ( May 11, 2019)— The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts (Charter Arts) will present its spring ice show: LUNA on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the Steel Ice Center, located at 320 E. 1st Street, Bethlehem.

The show is the story of a bullied teen who escapes reality and learns that her differences and scars are the sources of her strength in this world. The show was written, planned and produced by Charter Arts figure skating students over the course of this past year. The students picked and edited the music, costumes, lighting cues, set pieces, choreographed virtually the entire show, handled marketing, and even created show poster concepts.

The show includes performances by the students and guest skaters including US Masters Jr/Sr Ladies National Champion Kristina Struthwolf Leato, Professional Skater and Aerialist Amy Berglund, and Men’s Champion and Aerialist Tam Bui.

This will be the last ice show produced by the school as the figure skating program will be discontinued at the end of the 2018-2019 school year.

Doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets are $5-$13 and are available online at www.CharterArts.org or at the door.
