BETHLEHEM, PA– Stars from Broadway shows, including cast members from Hamilton: An American Musical, are giving unprecedented classes to aspiring performing artists in partnership with Celebrity Workshops. The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts (Charter Arts), located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania will be offering one of these classes to its vocal students.
A Hamilton: An American Musical cast member, Stephanie Jae Park, will be teaching a master class at the school on Monday, September 16, 2019. Dance, voice and acting – it’s all covered and students are thrilled to experience the up-close and personal experience learning from this expert.
The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts’ Music Department worked with Celebrity Workshops to offer this incredible opportunity for junior and senior vocal students. “We are so excited to host this master class with Stephanie,” says Neil Chaban, the school’s Assistant Director of Music. “I’m excited to hear and see how students grow artistically through this class.”
Park is currently the standby for all three Schuyler sisters in the Broadway mega-hit musical Hamilton: An American Musical. Previously Stephanie performed in the original Broadway companies of War Paint with Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole and The King & I. She also performed in the first Broadway national tour of Rodger & Hammerstein’s Cinderella and New York City Center’s Sunday In The Park With George starring Jake Gyllenhall and Annaleigh Ashford.
