Pinups for Pitbulls Announces 2020 Calendar Release “Howliday” Party & Fundraiser

November, 2019 – Philadelphia, PA – Pinups for Pitbulls, an international not-for-profit organization has recently announced an upcoming fundraising event to be hosted in Philadelphia, PA. The Calendar “Howliday,” party will feature an opportunity for guests to have their 2020 calendar autographed by calendar models. The event will also feature food, specialty drinks, raffles, a stocking decorating station, holiday music and prizes for holiday attire. It is scheduled for Friday, November 22nd from 7:30-11:00 upstairs at Tattooed Mom in Philadelphia.

Pinups for Pitbulls has published its annual fundraising calendar for the past 15 years. Featuring pinup style hair, makeup and clothing and a varying annual theme, calendar models include individuals and dog models who have been selected through an extensive application process. The 2020 calendar’s theme is “Fantastic Time Travel Adventures,” which includes iconic styles from the past and a glimpse into potential future styles.

The calendar release party is free to attend and a portion of all food and drink sales from the upstairs bar will be donated to the organization on behalf of Tattooed Mom. The event is scheduled for Friday, November 22nd from 7:30-11:00 at Tattooed Mom on the second floor level (530 South Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19147).

 Deirdre Franklin is the founder of Pinups for Pitbulls, an international not-for-profit organization with its origin in Philadephia. Franklin is a published author with a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Drexel University. She uses her knowledge of helping to change policy to influence the decision of lawmakers regarding the implementation of Breed Specific Legislation. Franklin helps to oversee an international group of volunteers who participate in events to share information about ending BSL while also raising funds through selling Pinups for Pitbulls merchandise and accepting donations.
