Please join us for the 2024 One Step Forward Celebration Awards, Presented by Air Products at DeSales University, on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM.

The One Step Forward Celebration is an annual awards gala to celebrate the accomplishments, triumphs, and victories of local children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), their families, and inclusive local businesses that support people with IDD in the Lehigh Valley.

You can participate in this event by nominating someone you know for an award, attending or sponsoring the event, or making a donation to our silent auction or wine wall! All money raised from the One Step Forward Celebration directly impacts The Arc’s Advocacy Department, the Lehigh Valley’s only provider of completely free resource coordination, training, and one-to-one advocacy support for people with IDD and their families. With a focus on collaboration, education, empowerment, and self-advocacy, the Advocacy Team connects with and supports people in navigating the complicated IDD systems.
