Allentown School District In Your Schools: May 30 – June 10, 2016



 

Allentown School District announces the following events will take place between in our schools between May 30 – June 10. As always, below are some highlights to consider for next week:

 

  • ASD High School and Middle School – June 1; 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: ASD Science Fair in the William Allen High School Gymnasium. Projects created by students in grades 6-12 across the District will be on display. Light refreshments will be served.

 

  • ASD Middle Schools – June 1; 5:30 p.m.: Allentown DRIVE Baseball Playoffs at Elite Championship Tournament Baseball (ECTB) Stadium (formerly Bicentennial Park) located at: 1008 S. Howard Street 18103. Rain date is June 2.

 

  • Raub Middle School – June 1; 6:00 p.m.: Voice to Vision- Magellan Health Workshop in Cafe sponsored by Youth & Family Services Council.

 

  • ASD High School and Middle School – June 2; 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: ASD Science Fair and Ceremony in the William Allen High School Gymnasium. From 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Science Fair Exhibits; 2:15 p.m. – 1:00 p.m., Student Award Ceremony – by invitation only.

 

  • South Mountain Middle School – June 2; 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Egg Drop Challenge

 

  • Central Elementary School – June 3; 3:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Central Elementary Community Block Party. Join in the fun as Central Elementary School students, families, staff and community gather for a Community Block Party with games, activities, food, performances and Administrators Dunk Tank.

 

  • Lehigh Parkway Elementary School – June 3; 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.: Street Fair in Lehigh Parkway Parking Lot. Fun, Games and Food

 

  • Dieruff High School – June 3; 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.: Dieruff Prom at Woodstone Country Club in Danielsville.

 

  • ASD Middle Schools – June 6; 3:30 p.m.: Allentown DRIVE Baseball Championship at Coca Cola Park.

 

  • William Allen High School – June 7; 7:00 p.m.: 2016 Allen Athletics Awards Ceremony will be in the WAHS Dr. John McHugh Auditorium. The 2016 Allentown/William Allen Hall of Fame Inductions and 2016 Athletic Awards will be presented.

 

  • McKinley Elementary School – June 8; 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: McKinley Carnival

 

  • Hiram Dodd Elementary School – June 10; 3:30 p.m.: String Concert
