For all you dog lovers, the 8th Paw Prints on the Canal Event was held Sunday, June 5th from 11am-4 pm at the Northampton Canal. The event benefits the Northampton Boro Police Departments K-9 Unit. Officer Michael Buchanan and his K-9 partner, Vito were on hand demonstrating a K-9’s skills.
Rescues/shelters participated in a rescue parade which presented dogs looking to find their forever home. Squiggy, a pitbull puppy, stole the show! A Sharp Dressed Pet Contest was also held with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes for each contestant. Whoever saw a dog wearing sneakers?
The rain held off and it was a great event!
