Saturday night fans enjoyed an abundance of hits from iconic 90’s band Weezer, at Sands Event Center in Bethlehem. Weezer is currently on tour promoting their latest album “Weezer,” also known as “The White Album,” which was released on April 1, 2016. Fans were cheering and singing as Weezer played some of their new songs and all of their famous hits like ” Hash Pipe,” “My Name is Jonas,” “Beverly Hills,” and “Undone -The Sweater Song.” Towards the end of the set, they played a more unplugged version of “Island in the Sun,” while wearing Hawaiian leis and wrapped up with “Say It Ain’t So.” They quickly came back out for the encore to play two more hits, “El Scorcho” and “Buddy Holly.” The show was only 1 hour and 15 minutes, but the overwhelming feedback from the fans was that they loved the show and that it exceeded their expectations! From the singing, cheering, and swaying throughout the show, I have to agree!
