(BETHLEHEM) – Tom Harper (center), Director of Development for Meals On Wheels of Northampton County, accepts a $20,000 grant award from R.K. Laros Foundation Executive Director Sharon Jones Zondag and Laros Trustee Ron Donchez. Meals On Wheels of Northampton County will use the R.K. Laros Foundation’s generous grant award to expand its Bethlehem-based kitchen and overall facility.
Meals On Wheels of Northampton County is a private, nonprofit organization that has supported healthy living through the delivery of nutrition services since it began delivering meals in 1972. In 2017, Meals On Wheels of Northampton County prepared more than 560,000 nutritious and medically tailored meals for nearly 1,600 clients in Northampton County as well as for multiple organizations throughout the Lehigh Valley it serves through meal contracts.
