Allentown, PA – May 6, 2026 – Gross McGinley, LLP proudly partnered with PBS39 for its 2026 Be My Neighbor Day at the Univest Public Media Center in Bethlehem, rallying 23 colleagues (both attorneys and staff) across the firm to support one of the organization’s most cherished family events. As part of the Lehigh Valley Volunteer Challenge, the firm mobilized volunteers for both the preparation and execution of the event, helping ensure local families with young children enjoyed a welcoming, engaging day centered on the meaning of home.

In the days leading up to Be My Neighbor Day on Saturday, April 18, Gross McGinley volunteers gathered at the PBS39 offices to assemble 600 take-home bags for children, carefully packing materials designed to encourage learning, creativity, and neighborly connection. On event day, firm volunteers staffed multiple timed sessions to help maintain a smooth experience for families as they took photos with Daniel Tiger, listened to story times centered on home, decorated kindness cards, and explored hands-on activities throughout the building.

A highlight of the partnership was Gross McGinley’s sponsorship of the birdhouse construction activity, which invited children and their caregivers to build a home for neighborhood birds while reflecting on what makes their own homes feel safe, supportive, and loving. In addition to sponsoring the activity, the firm staffed the station and supported families throughout the day at trolley rides, story time, bug hotel building, mascot assistance, and other interactive experiences.

This day of service and support was especially meaningful as Gross McGinley celebrates its 50th anniversary throughout 2026. Be My Neighbor Day reflects the same values that have guided the firm for five decades: community involvement, strong relationships, and a commitment to making a lasting, positive difference in the lives of neighbors across the region.

“As the firm marks 50 years of service, this fantastic community event served as both a celebration of neighborhood spirit and a reflection of Gross McGinley’s legacy of showing up for the communities it has consistently served,” shared Managing Director Deb Faulkinberry. Guided by these enduring values, Gross McGinley’s philanthropic efforts, which have included generous financial contributions, board service, and direct acts of volunteerism, have supported more than 500 local and regional nonprofits and organizations. Dedicated to partnering with charitable causes that strengthen the fabric of the cities they operate in, the firm is proud to advance initiatives that will create tangible positive impact in the communities it serves.
