A musician, singer, songwriter, voice actor and filmmaker, Zombie’s multi-faceted creative career initiated when he founded the heavy metal band White Zombie. After creating four studio albums with his debut band, he left in 1998 only to spark an even more successful solo career. Since the beginning of his solo career, it’s estimated that Zombie has sold about 15 million albums worldwide. With iconic horror and sci-fi themes present in his shows, it is no wonder he’s also known for his elaborately theatrical, shock rock abilities.

Zombie’s first solo effort, the 1996 song “Hands of Death (Burn Baby Burn),” was a collaborative effort with Alice Cooper, which went on to receive a GRAMMY nomination for Best Metal Performance. After this initial leap, Zombie released a series of albums including his debut Hellbilly Deluxe, which sold more than two million copies worldwide; his second platinum album in the U.S., Sinister Urge; and Hellbilly Deluxe II, which peaked at #8 in the U.S.

Zombie has also directed a series of films including “House of 1000 Corpses,” “The Devil’s Rejects,” the 2007 “Halloween” remake, which is his highest-grossing film to date, and the animated film “The Haunted World of Superbeasto.”

The Rob Zombie show is supported in part by media partner 95.1 WZZO. Named the top Music Festival in North America by USA TODAY’s 10Best two years in a row, Musikfest features more than 500 performances – the vast majority free to attend – on 17 stages throughout Bethlehem over 10 days. Other acts announced for the festival include The National July 31, Shinedown Aug. 4, Willie Nelson Aug. 5, Kelsea Ballerini Aug. 6, Poison Aug. 7 and Darius Rucker Aug. 8.

Dates for the 37th edition of Musikfest  are July 31-Aug. 9. For more information, visit www.musikfest.org.
