Bethlehem, PA – April 17, 2025 – The Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the distinguished recipients of its 2025 Annual Awards and invites the community to join in a celebratory evening recognizing their outstanding contributions to Bethlehem.

The Annual Awards Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM EST at the beautiful Dream Boyd Theatre, located at 30 W Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. This year’s event promises an engaging experience, beginning with a new interactive culinary showdown from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Attendees will witness Bethlehem’s finest chefs compete for the coveted Golden Plate Award in a thrilling display of culinary talent.

Following the culinary excitement, the awards reception will commence at 6:00 PM, honoring the individuals and organizations that have significantly impacted the Bethlehem community. This is a unique opportunity to network with local leaders, celebrate the spirit of Bethlehem, and acknowledge the remarkable achievements of our Chamber members.

The Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the following recipients of the 2025 Annual Awards:

MILESTONE AWARD- Milestone Awards are given in celebration of Chamber member businesses who are celebrating a significant anniversary.

Recipients: 

  • Akroyd’s Hardware – Celebrating 70 Years
  • Donegal Square – Celebrating 40 Years
  • Victory House – Celebrating 40 Years
  • Brownstone Design – Celebrating 30 Years
  • Lehigh Valley Style Magazine – Celebrating 25 Years

STRATEGIC PARTNER AWARD- The Strategic Partner Award is given to a business or individual who has enhanced the Bethlehem Community and/or the Bethlehem Chamber with a spirit of volunteerism and/or support in multiple arenas.

Recipient: BSI Corporate Benefits

DOWNTOWN VISION AWARD- The Downtown Vision Award is given to those who have a clear goal for how they see the future of their downtown and don’t just talk about it, they make it happen.

Recipient: Plamen ‘Rocco’ Ayvazov, Dream Boyd Theatre

COMMUNITY PARTNER AWARD- The Community Partner Award is given to a person or organization whose work directly impacts the wellbeing of its community in addition to having a clear mission to give back through sponsorship and volunteerism.

Recipient: Community Action Development Bethlehem

STAR OF BETHLEHEM AWARD- The Star of Bethlehem Award is given to an individual who has dedicated much of their lives in bettering Bethlehem as either a volunteer or in a business capacity.

Recipient: Mrs. Anne Evans

FRANK MARCON AWARD– Recognition to an individual, who like Frank L. Marcon, combined a distinguished business career with sustained and diverse community volunteer service that enhanced significantly the quality of life in the Lehigh Valley. Recipient: Mr. Richard A. Anderson, President & CEO, St. Luke’s University Health Network

THE BETHLEHEM LEGACY AWARD- This prestigious award, new for the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, recognizes an individual or organization whose exceptional leadership, unwavering commitment, and selfless service have left a legacy in Bethlehem, making a significant and positive impact on the community.

Recipient: Darlene Heller, Director of Planning & Zoning, City of Bethlehem (Retired)
