Trexlertown, PA — September 16, 2025— The Valley Preferred Cycling Center (VPCC), better known as T-Town, is proud to announce its 50th Anniversary Celebration — a milestone event honoring five decades of cycling, community, and tradition. Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the world-famous velodrome in Breinigsville, PA.
Since 1975, T-Town has stood as the East Coast’s cycling hub, hosting legendary athletes, nurturing grassroots talent, and creating unforgettable moments for fans and families alike. Now, fifty years later, we invite the entire community to come together to celebrate this remarkable legacy.
Highlights of the 50th Anniversary Celebration include:
- Special Guest Appearances — including Phillips Armstrong, Lehigh County Executive, and PA Representative Michael H. Schlossberg, with more distinguished guests to be announced.
- Historic Reenactment — experience history as we recreate Bob Rodale’s inaugural ride, a tribute to the velodrome’s visionary founder.
- Honoring Our Legacy — a heartfelt recognition of the athletes, volunteers, and families who built T-Town into an international cycling destination.
“From the very first lap that my grandfather Bob Rodale rode here to the world-class racing and programs we host today, the Valley Preferred Cycling Center has always been about more than cycling — it’s about community, growth, and inspiration,” said Andrew Rodale Norelli, chairman of the board. “This 50th anniversary is a chance to honor our past while looking ahead to the next generation of cycling champions and a growing cycling community.”
