The PCFLV Hearts of Gold Gala Is Set for Nov. 11th!

Presented by Bennett Maserati of Allentown, the PCFLV Hearts of Gold Gala will feature a unique live auction of artwork created by local kids with cancer.

BETHLEHEM, PA Oct. 30, 2017 — Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley (PCFLV) will hold its annual Hearts of Gold Gala on November 11th at 6 p.m. at the Iron Lakes Country Club in Allentown. This year, the Hearts of Gold Gala is presented by Bennett Maserati of Allentown.

Ashley Russo, President of ASR Media Productions, will once again emcee The Hearts of Gold Gala. “”Supporting the mission of PCFLV encompasses everything our community is and should be – caring, compassionate and connected with those who need support,” said Russo. “It’s a true honor to be a small part of PCFLV’s huge success.”

The action-packed evening will include live music, a cocktail hour, a silent auction, a wine tree and a sit-down dinner.

Local pediatric cancer warrior Jack Knudson will be the featured speaker at the Gala. After Jack shares his journey about his life with cancer, auctioneer Jason Houser of Houser Auctions will sell paintings and mosaics created by Lehigh Valley pediatric cancer patients and their families.

Lauren Kuhn, a local professional artist, will be creating a painting during the cocktail hour. That painting will also be featured in the live auction.

“The Hearts of Gold Gala is one of our key fundraisers throughout the year for us,” said PCFLV Executive Director Michelle Zenie, “but it is more than that. The Gala is a spectacular way for our supporters and families to meet and mingle, and for PCFLV to display artwork created by our kids. PCFLV believes that art and art therapy are so very vital for kids who are battling cancer, spending time in the hospital or clinic, or isolated at home during treatment. We love sharing their pieces with the Lehigh Valley at the Hearts of Gold Gala.”
