BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF THE LEHIGH VALLEY, Allentown is looking for Mentors for students at Fountain Hill Elementary School, Bethlehem.  Mentors and Littles meet once a week 3:30-4:45pm; activity ideas are provided.  Mentors are also needed for Breakfast Program at Paxinosa Elementary, Easton.  Mentors meet once a week from 8:15-9am at school.  Call Melissa Moyer, 610-432-8000 x107, mmoyer@bbbslv.org.
CEDARBROOK NURSING HOME, Fountain Hill has opportunities for volunteers to help at their Bazaar from 9:45am-2:15pm on Friday, December 1st.  Help is needed at craft sales tables, escort residents to the bazaar, and to help them shop.  In addition to beautiful hand-made crafts, baked goods, jewelry, small gifts will be sold and refreshments will be available.  Call Kerry Magliane,
FORKS YMCA EDUCATION CENTER, Easton needs volunteers for their Tree of Lights event on Wednesday, December 6th from 5-8pm.  Help is needed to set up lights, chairs, tables, help serve refreshments, and pass out programs.  Deadline for volunteer inquire is Wednesday, November 22nd.

GREATER VALLEY YMCA, Allentown hosts an Annual Community Holiday Dinner on Friday, December 15th at the Allentown Y.  In previous years they have served 250-350 meals, as well as distributed gifts to under privileged children in attendance.  Assistance is needed with meal prep, set up, decorating, greeters, servers, runners, and clean up.  Deadline for volunteer inquire is Friday, December 8th.  Call Maribel Tandazo, 610-351-9622, maribeltandazo@gv-ymca.org.
LIBERTY BELL SHRINE MUSEUM, Allentown is looking for volunteers for their “Little Shoppers Village” to assist children with their Christmas shopping.  Parents fill out a form that indicates for whom the children are buying, and the volunteers help them fulfill their requests.  Packing/wrapping is done on site so the gifts are ready to be given on Christmas morning.  Volunteers must have clearances to participate in this opportunity.  Call Sara Jane Brace, 610-435-4232, sarajane.brace@libertybellmuseum.org.
MEALS ON WHEELS OF LEHIGH COUNTY, Allentown needs volunteers (18+ years) to go grocery shopping for homebound seniors and adults with disabilities in an area of Lehigh County that works best for you.  Flexible scheduling based on client’s needs (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly).  A 40 minute orientation is required.  Orientation scheduled for Thursday 11/30 @6:30pm, or call/email to arrange a one-on-one orientation that fits your schedule.  Call Lindsay Fly, 610-841-7132, lfly@mealsonwheelslc.org.
NORTHEAST MINISTRY, Bethlehem is seeking volunteers to tutor students in grades 1-12 during their After School Homework Club.  The club meets Monday to Thursday from 3:30-5:30pm.  Tutors assist students with homework, reading, and school projects.  All tutors must complete and pass background clearances before beginning to volunteer.  Call Paula Johnson, 610-691-3355, johnsonp@northeastministry.com.
THE SALVATION ARMY CHILDREN’S SERVICES, Quakertown is hosting their annual Children’s Christmas Party on Saturday, December 9th from noon until 2pm.  They are looking for a volunteer to come as Santa to hand out gifts to the children and pose for photos.  They also need a Mrs. Clause to assist Santa and read a Christmas story to the children.  Call Linda VanEsch, 610-821-7706,
