Mackenzie Completes “30 Businesses in 30 Days” Tour

Visits underscore need for real reform and results in Washington

EMMAUS, PA:  Ryan Mackenzie, candidate for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 15th Congressional District, completed his “30 Businesses in 30 Days” tour throughout the district, underscoring his commitment to a strong economy for all Americans.

“From mom-and-pop shops to multi-million dollar enterprises, visiting with people where they work was educational and enjoyable,” said candidate Ryan Mackenzie after visiting 30 businesses, including manufacturing, professional services, firearms sales, food processing, and a tattoo shop.

“Despite the size of the companies I visited or the fields they represented, I heard many common themes,” continued Mackenzie, “They want a level playing field, an immigration system focused on what’s best for Americans, reduction of unnecessary regulations, tax relief, and a skilled workforce.”

The ‘30 Businesses in 30 Days’ tour closed on December 20, 2017.  Ryan Mackenzie encouraged any business in Pennsylvania’s 15th Congressional District, no matter how big or small, to invite him to visit their location to learn more about their needs and the reforms needed to grow America’s economy, create jobs, and raise wages.

During his time in the state House of Representatives, Mackenzie has been an effective legislator who spearheaded legislation that was signed into law that reformed outdated regulations, eliminated the inheritance tax for small family businesses, helped veterans start their own businesses, and made meaningful improvements to healthcare delivery for stroke victims.

For his work, Mackenzie has been recognized as a Guardian of Small Business by the National Federation of Independent Business.  He plans to maintain his efforts to help and promote a favorable business environment if elected to Congress.

Ryan Mackenzie is a candidate for U.S. Congress in Pennsylvania’s 15th Congressional District.  He is a 9th generation Pennsylvanian, and is currently a state Representative serving portions of Berks and Lehigh Counties. Ryan received an undergraduate degree from New York University and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.
