About Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is an international non-profit organization driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live. Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley (Habitat LV) is the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, and has served the Lehigh Valley area since 1989. Since then, the organization has provided a hand up, not a hand out to 115 low-income, hard working families. Families and individuals in need of a hand up partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay back an affordable mortgage. Through financial support, volunteering, or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, we empower. To learn more about the organization and find out how you can get involved, visit www.habitatlv.org and like us on Facebook@ Habitat Lehigh Valley.
