AMERICA ON WHEELS, Allentown has a grounds beautification project for 9-11 Day of Service. Help weed/trim/rake out their Children’s Learning Garden and our front and side garden beds. Provide transportation to medical appointments, grocery stores, or to visit a loved one in a nursing home. Choose times, days, and areas you wish to drive. KELLYN FOUNDATION, Tatamy needs volunteers for their Lehigh Valley VegStock on Saturday, October 12 from 11am-5pm at Llantrisant Retreat & Wellness Center in Tatamy. This is a Healthy Harvest Festival with vendors, crafters, musicians, entertainment, games, food, speakers with tips on healthy living, and more. Volunteers are needed on Friday, October 11 for set up. THE GRESS MOUNTAIN RANCH needs volunteers to help get the Ranch ready for their Open House in October by decorating, painting and staining the barn structures, ground maintenance, etc. Families are welcome! THE SALVATION ARMY, Allentown has a volunteer opportunity for 9-11 Day of Service from 9am-3pm to do some gardening and landscaping work at The Hospitality House Shelter. Help clean up the exterior spaces of their building. The garden needs some TLC to remove weeds, debris, and overall sprucing up of this area. Bring gloves and work clothes to help with this project.
