PPL CENTER TO HOST EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL GAMES ON FEBRUARY 10, 11, & 13

Allentown, PA (January 30, 2020) – Eastern Pennsylvania Conference (EPC18) announced today that PPL Center will host the EPC18 Championship high school basketball games on February 10, 11, & 13, 2020. The Championship games at PPL Center will be presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network and Service Electric Cable Television. The game schedule will be as follows:

 

Boys Basketball:

Monday, February 10 at 6:00 p.m. – #2 seed vs. #3 seed

Monday, February 10 at 7:30 p.m. – #1 seed vs. #4 seed

Thursday, February 13 at 8:00 p.m. – Championship

 

Girls Basketball:

Tuesday, February 11 at 6:00 p.m. – #2 seed vs. #3 seed

Tuesday, February 11 at 7:30 p.m. – #1 seed vs. #4 seed

Thursday, February 13 at 6:00 p.m. – Championship

 

Semifinal matchups for boys and girls will both be determined following the Quarterfinals, which will be played on Friday, February 7. Following the EPC18 Championship games at PPL Center, all qualifying teams will then advance to the District XI Basketball Tournament, which begins on Tuesday, February 18.

Tickets for all three nights are on sale now at PPLCenter.com, the QNB Box Office at PPL Center, and by phone at 610-347-TIXX [8499]. General Admission adult tickets can be purchased for $7.00. Students (ages 18 & under) and Senior Citizens (ages 65 & over) can purchase tickets for $4.00. Children ages 4 & under are free but require a complimentary ticket for entry, which can be secured with the purchase of an adult ticket.

“Lehigh Valley Health Network is proud to be part of this experience,” said Brian Leader, Vice President of Orthopedics and Specialty Surgery.  “As the official medical partner of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference Championship Series, our sports medicine providers will be present to provide hands-on medical care to the student athletes during the championship week.  Best of luck to all teams who compete in this arena.”

The Eastern Pennsylvania Conference (EPC18) was established on June 4, 2014 and is comprised of 18 member high schools formerly affiliated with the Lehigh Valley Interscholastic Athletic Conference and the Mountain Valley Conference. The principals of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference formed this conference to serve and unite local schools and communities through academic and athletic competition. The EPC18 places athletics in its proper perspective as a compliment to the academic program.
