The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber and Southern Lehigh Chamber are thrilled to work alongside Jamren McDonald’s as they plan to break ground on a new location in Coopersburg, PA at 6690 Short Drive Coopersburg, PA 18036.

With the hardships many businesses are facing, it’s exciting to see the growth of small, locally-owned franchises like that of Jamren McDonald’s. McDonald’s in Quakertown, Hellertown, and Easton have been in the Lehigh Valley for two generations. Their mission is to support local communities, schools, and charities through cooperative fundraising efforts. Owner and operator James McIntyre and his wife Karen are passionate about giving back and supporting local communities. So far in 2021, Jamren McDonalds has hosted over 65 fundraising events at their stores.

They share “We are excited to be joining the Coopersburg community. We are eager to work with Southern Lehigh School District, their teams, and organizations. We want to work with local organizations and become a partner in what they do in the community.”

Jamren McDonald’s is currently operating in four locations throughout the Greater Lehigh Valley and Upper Bucks. The groundbreaking ceremony for the newest location, in Coopersburg, is scheduled on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at 12 pm for a new McDonald’s restaurant that will be coming to the Coopersburg area. The ceremony will officially begin at 12:15pm.

Construction was scheduled to begin in November and is expected to take 3-4 months on the corner of Passer Road and Route 309. The restaurant is expected to employ up to 70 employees. James McIntyre and his management team are actively seeking to hire people in advance, searching for managers, maintenance staff, and crew members. The organization is planning hiring events in their stores Saturday afternoons from10 am-3 pm, for onsite interviews-Check our Facebook page Jamren McDonalds for store locations.

Executive Vice President of Affiliated Chambers Jessica O’Donnell celebrates this expansion and growth, “We love working with Jim and his team in other communities across the Lehigh Valley and have seen the tremendous impact he has had for various organizations through their fundraising efforts and partnerships. Naturally we are excited to be bringing this community-centric organization into another close-knit municipality to see the dynamics grow and prosper.”
