Community Gallery features ‘Coming Together’

New exhibition starting January 22 features work by ASD high school students

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. (Dec. 12, 2017) – The Community Gallery at Penn State Lehigh Valley presents “Coming Together,” an exhibit that features recent works by Louis E. Dieruff and William Allen High School students of the Allentown School District. The exhibit runs January 22 to March 24, 2018.

The artist reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on January 25 at Penn State Lehigh Valley. Both the reception and the exhibit are free and open to the public.

Visual Art students from Louis E. Dieruff High School and William Allen High School of the Allentown School District welcome the opportunity to share a sampling of recent two-dimensional works. Through exploring a variety of mediums and artistic experiences, students develop their artistic voice. On view in this gallery is work created by students from Art 1, Art 2, Art 3, Art 4, Visual Art Concepts, and AP Studio Art courses.
