ALLENTOWN YOUTH SOCCER CLUB, Allentown has lots of volunteer opportunities. They need Coach/Assistant Coach; Team Manager; Registration Assistants; and Administrative (sort copies & deliver flyers). Open Board positions: Registrar – collect/manage player data, communicate with coaches; Travel League Rep & Recreational League Rep – attend quarterly league meetings and report back to board and coaches. AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION/ AMERICAN STROKE ASSOCIATION, Bethlehem is looking for individuals to volunteer at the 2018 Lehigh Valley Heart Walk on September 22, 2018 from 8AM to 2PM, who can help set up, man tents, water stations, and walk route as well as clean up. BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF ALLENTOWN has youth opportunities for volunteers age 14+ to assist program staff with the delivery of summer programs and activities – educational, arts, sports, recreation, lunches & snacks, etc. during their 9 week summer program now through 8/17. Opportunities are available every weekday from 10am-6pm at various locations in Allentown. Volunteers can choose a week, day, or days that fit their schedule. FEED THE CHILDREN, Bethlehem is currently accepting volunteer applications for our Teacher Store. We are looking for dedicated and outgoing volunteers to help teachers shop for free school supplies and classroom furniture from 2:00 pm-5:00 pm every Wednesday of the month, August through May. Check-in, check-out, assisting shoppers during open hours, and restocking the store during the week. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 1:30 pm. MUSEUM OF INDIAN CULTURE, Allentown needs volunteers for their 38th Annual Roasting Ears of Corn Festival on 8/18 & 8/19: Food Prep, Children’s Activities, and Hospitality.
