EASTON HOSPITAL ANNOUNCES NEW PRESIDENT

EASTON, PA (January 4, 2019) – Easton Hospital announces Linda J. Grass, MBA, FACHE as President of Easton Hospital effective immediately.

Linda served as the interim President for Easton Hospital since October of 2018. She brings a rich understanding of the health care environment and more than thirty years of experience as a leader and chief administrator.

“On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I am delighted that Linda Grass has accepted the appointment to President of Easton Hospital,” said Tom Muller, Chair of the Board of Trustees at Easton Hospital. “Since Linda joined us as interim President I have been impressed with her commitment to quality, her relationships with our medical professionals and staff and her interest in the Easton area community.”

Prior to joining Steward Health Care, Linda has spent majority of her career in leadership roles at Temple University Health System’s Jeanes Hospital, in Northeast Philadelphia. Her tenure as President and CEO of Jeanes Hospital for 12 years during the hospital’s most significant growth period brought high-acuity programs like a full continuum of heart care from cardiac catheterization to cardiothoracic surgery, bariatric and spine surgery, and two expansions of emergency services with highly-accredited stroke care. She also served as administrative lead during construction of Jeanes Hospital’s patient tower in 1992, and also in 1996 during the selection of Temple Health as a system partner.

Linda holds a master’s degree from Arcadia University and an MBA from LaSalle University. Her degree in physical therapy was earned at Temple University. She was appointed to the American College of Healthcare Executives’ Regents Advisory Council for Southeastern Pennsylvania, and received the Administrative Achievement Award from the Healthcare Leadership Network of the Delaware Valley. She received the Temple University Founders Award for outstanding contributions to the rehabilitative health care and hospital administration, and was granted the Temple University Gallery of Success Award. In 2014, Linda was also inducted into Temple University’s League for Entrepreneurial Women’s Hall of Fame, which recognizes Temple alumnae for their outstanding achievements as innovators, entrepreneurs and leaders.
