CITY OF ALLENTOWN ANNOUNCES POOL OPENING DATES



 

The City of Allentown’s Mack, Jordan and Irving pools will open for the season on Saturday, June 16.

Cedar Beach Pool, currently open for City of Allentown residents only on weekends, will also open daily beginning on Saturday June 16. Non-Residents are able to use Cedar Beach Pool on weekdays only beginning June 18.  Jordan, Mack and Irving Pools are open to residents and non-residents on both weekdays and weekends.

Bucky Boyle Park and Old Fairgrounds Playground Spray Parks have been open daily since May 26 and are open to residents and non-residents alike.

All facilities are open for recreational use from 12:00pm to 7:00pm daily, weather permitting.

New for the 2018 are a few changes to the city’s Aquatics Policies:

-Photo Proof of Residency is required to receive resident admission rates. This proof can be provided by a driver’s License, photo ID or school issued photo ID

– No outside food is allowed at Cedar Beach and Jordan pools.  The City of Allentown operates concession stands at these locations with food items such as hot dogs, soft pretzels, pizza, ice cream, chips, nachos, water, soda and Slush Puppy iced drinks.
