Mules, Sangrias & More Highlight Drink Menu at Musikfest’s New Craft Cocktail Bar

Private Tasting Event Aug. 6 to Feature Samples from Social Still, Eight Oaks, Xplorer & Franklin Hill Vineyards

Cheers to Musikfest! In addition to the festival’s traditional beer tents, Musikfest is proud to welcome some of the Lehigh Valley’s most talented distillers and winemakers to its new Craft Cocktail Bar at Plaza Tropical, where each will showcase their talents with signature drinks for festers to enjoy.

Open each day of Musikfest, the Craft Cocktail Bar features drinks like the “Social Peach Mule” from Social Still; the “Whiskey Mule” and “Peach Gin & Tonic” by Eight Oaks; Xplorer’s “Bourbon Bash” and “The Big Apple;” and Franklin Hill Vineyards’ “Beach Bum Sangria” and “Sweet Strawberry Lemonade Sangria.” The bar, which is situated next to the stage at Musikfest’s popular Plaza Tropical, offers the perfect spot to sit back and relax in Adirondack chairs while listening to tunes or kick up the fun with a game of Bocce ball.

Want to try all the cocktails? Festival attendees can wind down at the Craft Cocktail Bar Private Tasting Aug. 6, 5:30-7 p.m., and enjoy a show by blues-rock duo Jocelyn & Chris Arndt. A $30 ticket to the private tasting includes eight 4 oz. drink samples, plus a Musikfest Mug as attendees leave the event. Tickets are on sale now at www.musikfest.org and 610-332-3378.

One of the largest music festivals in the nation, Musikfest features more than 500 performances on 16 stages throughout Bethlehem over 10 days. Proceeds from Musikfest 2018 will support ArtsQuest’s free concerts and programming for the community year-round at the Banana Factory arts center and the SteelStacks arts and cultural campus. Dates for the 35th edition of the festival are Aug. 3-12; for more info visit www.musikfest.org.
