7th Annual Jingle in July 5k Fun Run/One Mile Walk Brings Holiday Spirit to Wyomissing on Saturday, 7/28

KidsPeace Foster Care in Reading (PA) will host its 7th Annual Jingle in July 5K Fun Run/One Mile Walk on Saturday, July 28 at Gring’s Mill Recreation Area in Wyomissing.

Jingle in July is a Christmas-themed event, with festive holiday costumes sported by runners and a visit by (the vacationing) Santa Claus!  Proceeds from the annual event go to provide support and recognition for KidsPeace’s foster families served by the Reading office.

Those attending the event also are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys for children in the KidsPeace Foster Care program as part of the Jingle in July Toy Drive, for distribution during the upcoming holiday season.

Participants can register for Jingle in July in advance through Wednesday, July 25 at www.kidspeace5k.org/jingle-in-july.  Onsite race-day registration will also be available from 7:00 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. on July 28th.  The rain-or-shine race will begin at 8:30 a.m.

All Jingle in July events are at Gring’s Mill, 2083 Tulpehocken Road in Wyomissing.

Jingle in July is made possible through the generosity of our sponsors – including Platinum Level Sponsor Carpenter Technology and Gold Level Sponsor Lentz Milling Company.  For information on the event, contact Heather Einsig at 610-921-0130 or at heather.einsig@kidspeace.org.
